Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

On behalf of the Norwegian volunteer committee and the DMI Norwegian board, we want to thank you for your attendance during the conference. You made the conference a unique experience for everyone.

We are proud to have been able to give more of our workers, donors and visitors an opportunity to get to know each other. It was also wonderful every morning at the conference, to receive the good news of Father’s unconditional love for us. We want to thank Father for the power that He has provided to Josephat Mulongo, our keynote speaker, so he was able to give great speeches every day.

We are also grateful that Neville and Lill Muir could be present at the end at our conference. Keep praying for them both for their health and the work of Deaf Ministries International.

We have really experienced a blessed time together at the conference.

The 7th International DMI Conference had 138 participants from 22 different countries. Here you can find which 22 countries represented the conference. A new photo album has been added. Hopefully can you find yourself at one of many photos!

As announced in the closing part of the conference, the 8th International DMI Conference will take place in Kenya about three years, 2020. DMI International and DMI Norway are looking forward to seeing you again in Kenya!

Let us thank God for the successful and blessed conference that we have had together.

Sincerely regards and blessings

Sons and Daugthers of a Loving Father

“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
2 Corinthians 6:18

Welcome to our 7th International DMI Conference. Since our first one in the Philippines in 1999 we have held 3 in Asia 2 in Africa, one in Australia and now in beautiful Norway. The original purpose of holding a DMI International Conference was for us to meet and strengthen the links between DMI workers and supporters. From the very beginning however others who were not associated with DMI were welcomed and have become firm friends and co laborers among the deaf. New ministries have developed as a result of these conferences and new countries opened up for DMI involvement. May this conference also be one where the binds are strengthened as we consider the Father’s love for each one of us and our fellowship as believers.

Neville Muir

Founder & International Director DMI, DMI Australia

It is a great joy to wish people from all continents welcome to Norway in June 2017. We will be gathered as the summer starts in Norway, the time of the year when it hardly gets dark at night. We will enjoy the time together in a beautiful costal landscape by the Oslo fjord. Here we will share fellowship, learn from each other and hopefully experience more of the deep love our Father has for us. May these days inspire us all to continue our lives as His beloved sons and daughters who has the privilege to work with Him.

Gunnar Dehli

Director, DMI Norway

I’m really looking forward to organize the 7th International Conference on behalf of DMI Norway. The theme this year is a loving Father that relate us all people over the world as sons and daughters. Theme really applies to our current time with strong developments of technology, individualizing of society and much changes of shared values. We need to adapt the love from Jesus and spread this to our brother and sisters. The location Stavern Folkehøyskole Fredtun is a perfect place to carry out the conference!
